A handful of years ago, I decided to undertake an ambitious task: to become a freelance graphic designer.

I quit my job and started up this website, jasonwheat.com, with the sole intention of bringing my personal design style to those looking for something out of the ordinary...

Fastforward 4 years to the present day. I have created designs for a variety of clients, ranging from largee companies to small, personally owned businesses.

My pitch? Break free from ordinary, over-priced designs. Take it upon youself to step forward and take a chance on something different, something designed by me, Jason Wheat.

I think designs shouldn't be over-complicated. Sure, you can take something, and smother it with textures and make something "grungy", something with a bit of eye-catching appeal... but you may as well go and make a sign that reads "Hey! We're the same as everyone else! Look at our trendy, seen everywhere design!".

This is why you need me, and not one of the multitude of "me too!" designers riding on the coat-tails of the newest, shallow trends.
